We are honored to invite you as a guest at the coming Conference of the Belarusian National Platform, to be held January 26, 2019 in Minsk (Cultural Center KORPUS, Masherova str. 9).
The conference title is «Civil Society in Belarus: prospects for advocating public interests in relations with decision-makers». Organizers of the conference plan to discuss with CSOs and experts the role, the content and forms of civil society participation in decision-making mechanisms, zones for development and existing problems in this issue together with possible CSO contribution to this policy process.
A special place in the program takes a panel discussion: «Dream or reality? — The experience of the civil society of Belarus and the Eastern Partnership countries in advocating public interest in relations with national and international decision-makers”. The Belarusian organizations will have the opportunity to learn about the specific experience of participation in decision-making of their colleagues from Georgia and Armenia, as well as to evaluate recent controversial experience in Belarus.
The conference also plans to adopt a new Strategic Document of the Belarusian EaP CSF National Platform 2019-2021, as well as discuss and adopt BNP Gender Policy and the Resolution «Priorities in enabling environment for civil society in Belarus».
